Allegro Rainbow Makes Learning Fun With Their New Piano Wizard™ Kids' Website

New website offers educational games, interactive tutorials, and practice lessons for kids of all ages - in a fun-filled, non-violent internet playroom.

TAMPA, FLORIDA - JUNE 8th, 2006 - Allegro Rainbow, a leading provider of music gaming software and musical education tools, is proud to announce the launch of the Piano Wizard™ Kids' Page, a unique web experience for kids of all ages. The kid-tested and proven website comes complete with educational games (puzzles, trivia, etc.), interactive tutorials, and Piano Wizard practice lessons. The site is a one-stop entertainment center for kids who are interested in music and learning about the game. The site also is a great, non-violent website where parents can send their kids for hours of truly worthwhile "edutainment".

"The recent Electronic Entertainment Expo confirmed what we have been seeing as a developing trend - that violent video games and websites are readily available for our kids on the Internet with little or no regulation," explains Chris Salter, CEO of Allegro Rainbow. "With the Piano Wizard Kids' Page, our goal was to create an online experience and community that allows kids to be kids; a chance for them to learn and play in a safe, non-threatening environment. We plan to continue adding new content and activities to the site over the coming months, and hopefully do our small part in helping turn the tide against violent content and games for our children. We have many of our strategic partners also wanting to customize it to use to enhance their websites and make their websites more appealing and attractive to children. Online gaming is hot, and a great traffic generator if done right, and by working cooperatively we can all get the word out about this great new way of learning."

The Piano Wizard Kids' Page features a demo version of the Piano Wizard educational software (see below for details on the game). It allows kids to try out their skills on ten different songs using a simple on-screen keyboard and their mouse. The game takes kids through simple instructions about how to play the game and rewards them with a certificate when they are done. The Kids' Page also includes four interactive games including The Piano Wizard Game, The Noggin Game, The Memory Game, and The Jigsaw Game, each with their own unique twist on music education and fun. Finally, the Kids' Page offers an interactive tutorial from fellow "piano wizards" that teach game site players about the game and how exciting it is to use. About Piano Wizard™
Allegro Rainbow's flagship product is Piano Wizard, a computer video game that teaches kids how to play piano through a simple, patented, video game method. With the Piano Wizard software, colored ``notes'' - disguised as colorful icons like dinosaur eggs or rocket ships - travel along a straight line upward toward the same colored key on the computer screen. The player then simply hits the same color key on their piano keyboard when the note reaches the colored piano keys on the screen. It is so simple, children as young as three can play Beethoven in minutes. Conventional teaching methods emphasize learning notation and theory first, which is contrary to our natural learning process. Piano Wizard teaches the user how to play a song first and later provides insight into the musical theory. At advanced levels, the software flips the line that the notes are traveling on so they are horizontal, mimicking the lines of the staff. Now the notes are moving across the screen exactly the way music is read, demonstrating to the user the underlying logic of musical notation and theory.
